The first pirate movie with AACS 2.0 appeared online

AACS 2.0 encryption system is one of the most powerful UHD Blu-ray system protection and is used by companies such as Disney and Sony. For long time, users waited at the time this system be cracked and apparently the time is over, as a copy of the movie "The Smurfs 2" titled "The Smurfs 2 (2013) 2160p UHD Blu-ray HEVC Atmos 7.1-THRONE» appeared online.

There is no other information for now, except for the technical features of the copy, so it’s good to wait a little more before we make a safe conclusion. However, although the copies were initially uploaded on a private torrent tracker, there are now almost on the most public trackers, although you have to be patient since the file is over 50GB.

If the AACS 2.0 protection finally cracked, then it means that those who have a home theater or a 4K system will be able to enjoy movies in high resolution audio and video.

In order to run this copy, you can use either PowerDVD 17, Potplayer, Media Player Classic Home Cinema or the VLC.

You can also download an 1 min sample of the movie to try out your system.
